Our approach

Working with attorneys

We work with immigration attorneys and legal advocates to understand the purpose of the evaluation and the timeline, and we provide objective documentation of psychological functioning and its impact.

What to expect

  1. Referral and scope. We discuss the referral question, timelines, and the records needed before scheduling.
  2. Records review and interview. We review all available records and conduct a detailed clinical interview, in English or Spanish, or with an interpreter.
  3. Testing. Standardized cognitive and psychological testing, including validity measures.
  4. Report. A thorough written report that answers the referral question and explains how the conclusions were reached.
